"REALLY"




Another edition of "REALLY". This time it is staring the First Lady. As an African American woman, she was speaking to the NAACP. She goes on a rant about how America is unequal, and this is why black Americans are disadvantaged. Where to start…

I agree with the first lady when she states that America is unequal. I was raised unequally too (and I am as white as can be). Raised one of five by a single mother who married not one, but two scum bags (sorry mom… I love you and not blame you). These two gentlemen (cough, cough) left her to raise these children by herself. These children sometimes didn’t know where the next meal was coming from. They didn’t have electric some days, nor water on others because she had to make choices of what was most important. Feeding us won out. We lived in substandard housing at times. We wore used clothes. She had to work to provide for us, so we didn’t get the attention she would have liked to given us. This meant we went to school without the foundation we probably needed. We didn’t get the much needed kick in the butt that other kids with two parents received. She provided for us the best she could. This however made us disadvantaged and we started out life behind others. But the great thing about this country is we can start out “unequal” but with hard work, determination, and good choices, you can overcome your inequity.

Many American’s start out disadvantaged, but you stay that way because of bad choices you made. My mother (really no ill intent or condemnation here) made bad choices by falling in love with two worthless men. Again, I don’t condemn her for that, just a statement of fact. The genetic donors for me and my siblings made the choice that it was a better to go have fun rather than raise their responsibilities. This was a poor choice by both. They also didn’t see the need to financially support their offspring. These choices made my family “unequal” to others. We were looked on as not as good or “White Trash” if you may. We didn’t fit in. We started life a step (or more) behind others. Somebody give me a crying towel. I could have used this all as an excuse to get on welfare, commit violent crimes, sell drugs, beat my baby momma and kids, steal cars, and have 10 different kids by 10 different females. I; as my siblings, chose to overcome our inequity and make a better life for ourselves. Has it been easy, no? Have we fallen backwards at times, yes? Have all my siblings made bad choices at times, yes? Did we ever give up, no?

Good choices have a profound effect on where you wind up. My mother had to make very good choices too. “Do I work and set a positive example for my children, or do I sit back and collect a check from the government.” My mother chose to work and by doing so created a very strong work ethic in us. “Do I whore around and bring every Tom, Dick, and Harry home to sleep in my bed, or do I set a positive moral example for my children.” My mother chose to set a proper example for us. She also had the choice to sit back and blame her position in life on others, or admit her mistakes and move on trying to correct and live up to the responsibilities created by them. She chose the latter. And probably the greatest choice she made was to instill a strong work ethic in her children so that they could provide for themselves and no at the end of the day their fate lies in their hands.

So Ms. First Lady, please do not preach about inequity, because it is falling on death ears with me. This is especially true because I know you can overcome it.

Muslim Outreach Not the Job of NASA, White House Says

Really, I want to hear one more time how stupid G.W. was. This White House makes Jimmy Carter look like he should be carved onto Mt. Rushmore. It is one misstep after another. If it weren't for Fox news, we would never get any press. BTW... This is where this story came from.

White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said Monday that NASA Administrator Charles Bolden must have misspoken when he told Al Jazeera last month that one of his top priorities is to reach out to Muslim countries.


White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said Monday that NASA Administrator Charles Bolden must have misspoken when he told Al Jazeera last month that one of his top priorities is to reach out to Muslim countries.

"That was not his task and that's not the task of NASA," Gibbs said.

Bolden, though, said last month in the interview that it was President Obama who gave him that task. He made a similar claim in February.

The White House also backed up Bolden last week when his remarks first stirred controversy. A White House spokesman last Tuesday said Obama wants NASA to engage with the world's best scientists and that to meet that challenge, NASA must "partner with countries around the world like Russia and Japan, as well as collaboration with Israel and with many Muslim-majority countries."

NASA last week walked back Bolden's claim that Muslim outreach was the "perhaps foremost" plank of his mission, saying that Bolden was merely talking about his "outreach" responsibilities and that space exploration is still NASA's No. 1 job.

But Gibbs on Monday appeared to deny that Bolden was asked to focus on Muslim outreach at all.

Asked whether Bolden misspoke, Gibbs said: "I think so."

He said he wasn't aware of Obama speaking to Bolden about his comments.

The Muslim comments were met with a wall of criticism last week from conservatives and former NASA officials who said that while Muslim-nation outreach is laudable, it should not be a NASA priority.

Bolden said in the interview that Obama told him before he took the job that he wanted him to do three things: inspire children to learn math and science, expand international relationships and "perhaps foremost, he wanted me to find a way to reach out to the Muslim world and engage much more with dominantly Muslim nations to help them feel good about their historic contribution to science ... and math and engineering."

The Liberal Elite’s Concern with Sarah Palin!

Ok folks, I am not endorsing anyone on my blog. I feel it is more important to support ideas and values. This being stated, I cannot figure why the libs hate Sarah Palin so much. Anyone who knows me personally knows how I feel about her. They paint her as dumb, as shallow, and inept. I know this is not true. Anyone who can see what she has done knows better.



This Mamma Grizzly ad is the latest. It was posted on her Sarah Pac website. I think it is a shot across the bow to Washington as a warning for the midterm elections. I also believe there is posturing for her 2012 campaign, which is what any smart candidate does. Yes a 90 second clip is not going to have a lot of depth, but then again an entire campaign in 2008 consisted of the message “Yes We Can” and “HOPE”. Not a lot of depth I would say. To hear these commentators talk, this is the biggest waste of film ever made.





Hearing this and all the other criticisms about Sarah Palin reminds me of how they use to put down my political hero Ronald Reagan. I remember they use to call him shallow, dumb, etc. This being said, history tells us how that turned out. Which leads me to believe one thing, they are terrified of her.

They are scared how she respects tradition, and the constitution. They are scared how she connects to American. They are scared how she touches the common man, and this makes them pee themselves. This is because they can’t bring themselves off their elitist liberal perches and put themselves among us. They don’t know how we think, and they don’t know how we live. This is something the Hockey Mom from Wasilla can do, and they know it gives her a leg up on any candidate in 2012.


Be afraid; be VERY afraid… I believe in a very short time Progressives you are going to have to deal with the Pit Bull in lipstick. You saw what the Reagan Revolution did for the world. My warning to all my Socialist/Progressive friends is hold on because I think we are getting ready to take a ride of epic proportions! As Reagan eliminated the Soviet Union, Palin is taking aim at the Socialist in the old USA!

"When all government, domestic and foreign, in little as in great things, shall be drawn to Washington as the centre of all power, it will render powerless the checks provided of one government on another, and will become as venal and oppressive as the government from which we separated." -- Thomas Jefferson, in 1821

The most anti-American president in the history of the country -- at least until Barack Obama entered the White House -- was Woodrow Wilson. Elected in 1912, Wilson was a racist progressive Democrat who viewed the Founders and the Constitution with disdain. During his first year in office, he promoted two of the most destructive amendments to the U.S. Constitution ever ratified -- the 16th, which gave us the direct federal income tax, and the 17th, which provided for the direct election of U.S. Senators.

The popular election of our senators is bad public policy because it stripped the states of the one voice of representation they had in Washington, DC. James Madison, remembered as the Father of the Constitution, cautioned against "nationalism," wherein a strong national government would rule from Washington. Madison instead favored a new system, to be known as "federalism," which would give co-equal powers to the state and the federal governments. One of the key aspects of maintaining this distinction was the manner in which U.S. Senators were selected.

The House of Representatives, Madison said, would be the direct advocate for the people, and would be elected through their direct vote. U.S. Senators would be selected by their state legislatures, and would represent the interests of the states. By the end of the 19th Century, widespread corruption within state legislatures was rampant. At least that was the excuse used by those who advocated ratification of the 17th Amendment. As if there is no corruption surrounding this issue under the current system. Anyone been watching the trial of former Gov. Rod Blagojevich in Illinois?

Imagine how much more accountable United States Senators would be to the states they allegedly represent if they had to answer to the legislators in that state, rather than to the fickle whim of voters.

Blagojevich is on trial for trying to sell Barack Obama's old Senate seat. If the state legislature had been tasked with finding a replacement, rather than the governor, perhaps the people of Illinois might have someone more competent than Roland Burris.

Perhaps Sen. Ben Nelson would have listened to his constituents' opinion on Obamacare if he had known that the Nebraska Legislature could have replaced him at will.

Do you think that Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid would have so brazenly disregarded the wishes of Nevada had his fate rested in the hands of the legislature?

How does the fact that Sen. Chris Dodd of Connecticut raises almost all his campaign money from out of state donors -- a practice that would be neither necessary nor tolerated under the old system -- further the interests of his state?

What are the chances Sen. John Kerry would not be called on the carpet by the Massachusetts Legislature for voting in favor of a federal health care bill that duplicates legislation already in effect at the state level?

Today, Alaska does not have the authority to allow oil drilling in ANWR because of federal interference. Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal is battling the feds over his state's right to protect its coastal wetlands from BP's oil spill. Jindal has also had to take the Obama administration to court in order to stop the president's moratorium on offshore drilling. The state of Arizona is being sued by the Justice Department for enforcing immigration law. Everywhere we turn, the states are being crushed under the boot heel of an out-of-control federal government.

The United States has repealed only one amendment in the 223 years since the Constitution was ratified. It is time for the 17th Amendment to join the 18th on the ash heap of history.

The New Black Panther Party not playing nice with Glenn Beck

I don't know what I am more upset about:
1) that an organization that states it is for freedom is not wanting to allow other American's to exercise their first amendment right of free speech, or

2) I am no longer going to get the 3rd Monday in January off of work since MLK's birthday has been moved to 8/28! This angers me to no end!!!! DON'T THEY NO I HAVE STANDING PLANS FOR THAT WEEKEND AND NEED MONDAY OFF?




Really... You supposedly hold Dr. King in such high esteem but you can't remember when his birthday is!!!! WHAT THE HELL.
Well let's see the Justice Department drops all charges against the "New Black Panther Party." This organization was convicted on voter intimidation. But there isn't enough "evidence" to try them. They now want to look at the Oakland Police Officer who was convicted of killed an African American. The case was adjudicated properly, but the Justice Department wants to stick their nose in.

July 4, 1776: A day of greatness that we have somehow forgotten.

Before the beer, burgers, parties, ball games, and swimming that you will do this July 4th, please take a little time to read the reason you have the day off. Think of all what the signers of this sacred declaration risked to sign this document.

The founders basically signed a death wish by putting their name to this document. They felt freedom for their own and future generations were more important than their own life. They felt a man’s right to self determination was more important than their livelihood. They felt that the chance to free themselves of the shackles of a tyrannical government was more important than their very existence. They felt they were defending the very gift of freedom that was given by God. They believed that freedom was not something that was allowed by the government, but a divine endowment from their creator. They were willing to give up all that they had (even their own life) to defend this miraculous gift.

How do we repay them? We allow a government to shackle us and future generations to a freedom robbing national debt. We allow the government to impose tyrannical rules that take away a man’s right of self determination. It is as if we pissed on the graves of the founders by how we have allowed all they have fought for to be taken back by the government.

Read the words below. See if what they were seeking is what we have today. After your done reading, reflect on how you can repay them. Think on what steps you can do to take our government back to what the founders sought. Take further steps to study what the founders thought, felt, and meant by every word in this document, and the constitution. Find out where this country turned away from the values of these men and how we allowed ourselves to drift toward tyranny.

Finally I would ask you to pray to the heavenly father who bestowed the gift of freedom on us. Pray for his forgiveness for not protecting his precious gift. Pray for his forgiveness for the complacency we have shown. Then pray for the strength and determination it will take to get us going back to where we were on July 4, 1776.

When in the Course of human events it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.
